Report on Teachers’ Day Celebration
Hamidia Girls’ Degree College celebrated Teachers’ Day with great zeal and respect to honour the invaluable contribution of teachers.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Afeefa Bano, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. Thereafter, the Principal of the College, Prof. Naseha Usmani, extended warm congratulations to all the teachers on this auspicious occasion. As a token of appreciation, she presented pens to all the staff members.
On this occasion, two distinguished faculty members were felicitated by the Principal.
Dr. Amita Agarwal, Faculty of Commerce, was honoured with flowers and a memento by Principal and vice principal of the college.
Mrs. Tazeen Fatima, Guest Faculty, B.Voc. (Software Technology), was felicitated with a bouquet and a memento by Principal and senior faculty Mrs Neerja Verma.
Adding to the spirit of the event, Dr. Nuzhat Fatima presented a potted plant along with a memento to the Principal, Prof. Naseha Usmani, while Dr. Zarina Begum also offered a beautiful gift to her as a gesture of respect and admiration. Furthermore, Prof. Sabina Azmi presented a special gift to the two felicitated faculty members.
Highlighting the remarkable journey of the awardees, Mrs. Neerja Verma introduced the 27 years of dedicated service of Dr. Amita Agarwal, and Prof. Nasreen Begum eloquently described the tireless efforts and commitment of Mrs. Tazeen Fatima in fulfilling her responsibilities with dedication.
At the end of the ceremony, both the felicitated faculty members shared their heartfelt emotions with all colleagues, expressing gratitude and joy on being honoured on such a special occasion.
The program was gracefully compered by Dr. Siddeeqa Jabir, who ensured the smooth flow of the event. All faculty members of Hamidia Girls’ Degree College were present and participated in the celebration. The program concluded with refreshments served to all staff members.
