Development of a nation, nay the development of human race cannot come a full-circle if women who constitute half of the total population remain marginalized. The College was sanctioned a Centre for Women’s Studies by the UGC in Sep.2009. The centre dedicates itself to fulfill the target of empowerment of women-folk. It is working on two important aspects – improving women’s health and providing legal literacy by organizing dissemination programmes about legal provisions and constitutional safeguards.
