On the occasion of National Unity Day, Dept. of Medieval History, Hamidia Girls’ Degree College, Prayagraj organized an Essay Competition and Speech Competition on the topic Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel : Iron Man of India. In Essay writing competition 34 students participated and in Speech Competition 30 students participated.
In Essay writing competition, Aisha Ansari stood first(student of Medieval History, M.A. III Sem), Tasmiya Fatima and Shifa Hafeez stood second (Students of B.A. II) and Aqamsha Aslam stood third (Students of B.A. II).
In Speech competition, Aisha Ansari stood first(student of Medieval History, M.A. III Sem), Fazla Azmal stood second (student of Medieval History, M.A. III Sem) and Aameen Ashraf (Students of B.A. I) bagged the third prize.
