Bazm-e-Adab is a literary association of the students of Urdu founded in 2004 under the supervision of the faculty members of the Department of Urdu. The objective behind establishment of this Association was to develop the literary sensibility of the students and promotion of Urdu language, because Urdu is not only a language but also a cultural heritage of our country. A synthesis of Indian culture (Ganga Jamuni Tahzeeb) is developed through this language from centuries. Through this Association we are successfully training the students to come together and work together to upgrade the literary environment of not only our College but other Colleges too through different inter Collegiate programmes
One week Annual Urdu festival Nawa-e-Urdu organized by the Association in the month of November every year. The Chairperson of the Association is Dr. Yusufa Nafees Principal of the College, Deputy Chairpersons Dr. Naseha Usmani and Dr. Zareena Begum Associate professors of the Department of Urdu. President, Vice President, Secretary and 10 active members elected every academic session to organise co-curricular programs successfully.
