Report on Seven-Day CUET UG 2025 Workshop

A seven-day CUET UG 2025 Preparation Workshop was successfully organized by Hamidia Girls’ Degree College, Prayagraj, under the guidance of the Admission Committee and with the dedicated efforts of the workshop coordinator, Dr. Siddeeqa Jabir. The primary objective of the workshop was to guide students toward effective preparation for the CUET UG entrance exam through subject-wise lectures, discussions, and mock testing.
Day 1: Inaugural Session
The workshop began with an Inaugural Session graced by the Principal, Prof. Naseha Usmani, and the Chairperson of the Admission Committee, Prof. Erum Farid Usmani. Dr. Siddeeqa Jabir, the workshop coordinator, welcomed the participants and introduced the structure of the workshop.
Day 2: English Language
Prof. Sabiha Azmi conducted an insightful session on English Language, focusing on comprehension, grammar, vocabulary building, and question-solving strategies aligned with CUET UG patterns.
Ms. Hina Farheen explained the syllabus and structure of the CUET General Test.
Day 3: Economics and Computer
On the third day, Dr. Gulshan Akhtar provided an informative session on Economics, discussing key micro and macroeconomic concepts. Ms. Tazeen Fatima followed with a session on Computer Science, introducing students to basic computer operations and analytical skills required for the exam.
Day 4: Geography and General Knowledge
Dr. Shabnam Ara delivered an engaging lecture on Geography, highlighting important topics from human geography and sustainable development. Dr. Siddeeqa Jabir took a session on General Knowledge, focusing on current affairs and static GK essential for the test.
Day 5: Sociology and Reasoning
Prof. Erum Farid Usmani gave a well-structured lecture on Sociology, covering social structures and concepts relevant to CUET. Ms. Hina Farheen elaborated on logical reasoning, explaining various types of reasoning methods and techniques to approach related questions effectively.
Day 6: History and General Awareness
Dr. Nuzhat Fatima conducted a comprehensive session on History, emphasizing topics from ancient to modern periods. Her lecture included exam-oriented tips to simplify preparation for students.
Valedictory Session & Mock Test
The final day concluded with a Valedictory Session, where the Principal, Prof. Naseha Usmani, motivated the students to aim for higher education and strive for excellence. A Mock Test was organized to give students real-time practice. Feedback was collected, and certificates were distributed to participants.
Participation and Outcome
Students from eight different schools participated enthusiastically. Around 55 students benefited from the workshop. The event was appreciated for its academic richness, interactive teaching methods, and practical approach to CUET preparation.
The workshop concluded successfully with a vote of thanks to all the esteemed resource persons, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students for their active support.
